Joint Venture and Merger/Acquisition Support
International business activity often takes the form of a joint venture or other partnership. The Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce offers support in the identification of potential business partnerships between local enterprises and international firms. The objective of this support is to encourage international investment as well as new business opportunities for existing firms.
Attraction outreach undertaken by the GRCC to international firms often results in information regarding potential joint ventures. Interested international companies are identified through outreach efforts in conjunction with the State of Michigan, banks, law firms, and other strategic partners.
The GRCC works to engage interested businesses in new, mutually beneficial business partnerships. These partnerships can range from sales and distribution to sub-assembly and production.
