Workforce Incentives

Economic Development Job Training, On-the-Job Training and other funds maybe available to support the training needs of new or expanding operations. The Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce partners with workforce development organizations to assist firms interested in applying for funds. Employers can benefit from tax credits depending on the status of the individuals hired. Youth Apprenticeship, Renewal Community Resident, and Work Opportunity Tax Credits may be utilized as appropriate.
