JumpStart: Genesee County’s Premier Entrepreneurial Event

Calling all business innovators!

(Flint, Michigan, February 26, 2008) The Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring JumpStart, an event for emerging or existing business innovators looking to expand their skills, make valuable contacts and gather practical ideas for growing their businesses. The event is on Thursday, March 20, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Gateway Conference Center in Mundy Township. Cost is $10.00 per person and includes a continental breakfast, lunch, exhibits and networking opportunities.

“We know that the future of our economy lies within small business,” noted Nell Taylor, Business Development Manager for the Regional Chamber. “This event is designed to provide entrepreneurs with tools and insights of doing business in our area.”

The event also includes a panel of keynote business professionals sharing their knowledge of what goes in to launching and sustaining a successful business. Breakout session focusing on topics such as Government Contracting, Business Plan Basics, Marketing Plan Magic and Insuring Small Business Success follow the presentation.
