PTAC SPONSORS "MEET THE BUYER" FEATURING THE GENESEE COUNTY PURCHASING DEPARTMENT
(Flint, Michigan, October 16, 2007) On Thursday, October 18, 2007 the Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) at the Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce sponsors a "Meet the Buyer" workshop, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Northbank Center Building in downtown Flint.
"Meet the Buyer" is a unique bi-monthly event which gives attendees the chance to meet buyers from the Public Sector. In this workshop, Eric Hopson, the Genesee County Purchasing Director, will review the process to become a vendor and how to connect your company to upcoming opportunities with the County. Other County departments will also be represented.
Selling can be time consuming, frustrating and expensive—90% of the battle is just getting though the door, and with public sector organizations, it can be close to impossible. "Meet the Buyer" guarantees you the chance to learn how to get your foot in the door directly from the source.
