REGIONAL CHAMBER TEENQUEST GRADUATION
(Flint, Michigan, July 29, 2008) The Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce TeenQuest graduation takes place on Wednesday, July 30, 2008, 6:30 p.m., in the International Room at Kettering University in Flint. Fifty-two graduates will be honored for their successful completion of TeenQuest training, bringing the total graduates for 2008 to nearly 500. The event is expected to draw 300-350 participants. TeenQuest is a pre-employability leadership training program designed for teens ages 14-18, currently enrolled in grades 9-12 in a school within Genesee County or in a home school. The program focuses on basic skills required to work and succeed in today’s job market. The TeenQuest graduates are eligible to participate in the 2009 Summer Youth Initiative (SYI). |
